Now as one of the honorees of this award, it’s my turn to
1. Post the image of the award
2. Thank the person who gave it to me
3. Link to the person who gave it to me
4. Tell you seven things about myself that you probably don’t know
5. Choose seven great bloggers to give this award to
6. Give a link to their blogs
7. Leave them a message on their blog
I’ve just done the first 3 things on the list; now on to the rest:

7 Things You Probably
Don’t Know About Me:

1) I’m left-handed with most things. However, I can use a computer mouse and many jewelry tools equally well with either of my hands.
2) When I read fiction, I usually read children’s / young adult books. Currently I’m enjoying the Kiki Strike novels.
3) I haven’t had TV reception for several years (by choice), but we do have a TV for watching Netflix.
4) I love discovering the origins of words – what language they originally came from, what they originally meant, etc.
5) When I was 16 I went to a movie with a friend, and turned around to discover actor Lee Marvin was sitting right behind us! We silly 16-year-olds giggled about him during the entire movie while he sat stoically behind us – probably rolling his eyes.
6) I love history, and whenever I travel I try to find at least one old cemetery to visit. They’re filled with fascinating histories, tremendous artistry from bygone days, and fantastic old landscaping.
7) One of my favorite flavors is vanilla. In fact, I’m sipping a fragrant cup of vanilla coffee as I write this.

I am *so* delighted to learn that you are a word geek and cemetery freak too, Rena! It’s fun to learn these little things about people that I read every day. Thanks also for sharing the wonderful links :-)

Thanks, Cyndi! Word geekery and appreciation of old cemeteries aren’t topics I usually get to write about! :)
