I have paypal on my jewelry website, but do you think people still prefer typing in credit card rather than using paypal accounts which is more safer as the credit card is hidden from the merchant too?

Hi Rene,
Yes, in my experience, it’s a good idea to offer both credit card payment and PayPal payment capabilities if you can.
A lot of people have actually never used (or never heard of) PayPal and aren’t comfortable with it.
And because of the unfortunate prevalence of online scams, many people are reluctant to use a payment system they’re unfamiliar with.
So if you can offer both forms of payment, you’ll most likely net more sales.
However, if your sales volume is small or the extra expense of offering credit card payments off-PayPal is not worth it, then PayPal alone is still a good business model.
Hope this helps!
