Put a Photo Gallery of Your Jewelry on Your Website or Blog

Question:  How can I add a photo gallery of my jewelry to my website?

Answer:  Here’s an easy and very cool way to put a nifty slideshow, album, or gallery of your work on your website, blog, forum signatures, social networking pages, eBay auctions, etc.:

Simply sign up with one of the online photo-sharing services that offer a variety of ways to share your images.

One of the most feature-rich photo sharing sites is RockYou.

Most of these image sharing services have a free basic level of membership, which is very likely all you need for adding an album or slideshow to your jewelry website.

They also usually offer a paid membership with more features, that tends to cost somewhere around $15.

Once you’ve signed up with a photo sharing service, you can simply:

  • upload images of your jewelry to your account within the photo sharing service
  • choose your desired format options for displaying them (album, slideshow, or whatever)
  • save your work
  • copy the javascript or HTML code the photo sharing site gives you for this project
  • paste this code into your desired location on your website, blog, etc.
  • . . . and voila!  Instant album, slideshow, or whatever.

You can find more online services of this type by doing a Google search for keywords like:

  • online photo album
  • photo sharing
  • online slideshow
  • online photo gallery.
