Jewelry Packaging Design Resource

by Rena Klingenberg

Your jewelry packaging affects the overall impression people have of your jewelry – and of your business.

Customers expect special gift packaging, tags, bags, etc. when they buy (or receive) artisan jewelry – and the more special the packaging, the higher the perceived value of the jewelry.

For creative folks like jewelry artists, it can be really fun to come up with a “signature” style of jewelry packaging that’s memorable, not generic.

I came across a blog called The Dieline that features packaging ideas and designs for all sorts of products – including jewelry, as in this entry about Vera Wang’s stunning all-black packaging for her Ready-to-Wear line.

There’s lots of packaging inspiration on The Dieline blog that you can adapt to your jewelry business – especially in posts from the “Fashion” and “Bath, Beauty & Health” industries.

Have fun!
