About a month ago, my friend Deborah placed an order for three pairs of earrings.
Her only requirements were that they all needed to be sterling silver and medium length – and one pair turquoise, one pair red, one pair navy.
Since I’ll be seeing Deborah on Monday, I worked on her earrings last night.
It was the perfect project while watching a classic World War II movie with my mom and son (“Battle of the Bulge” with Henry Fonda and Robert Shaw, made in 1965).
The red earrings – two shades of
Swarovski crystals wired to handmade wire hoops.
The navy earrings – very dark blue aventurine
teardrops dangling from rustic silver spirals.
The turquoise earrings – amazonite
and turquoise on handmade marquise earwires.
Which pair do you think Deborah will like best?

The results of this little opinion poll reflect what really happened:
Deborah received her earrings this evening at a gathering, and said she loved them all. She was seen changing her earrings often all evening – and for a while she even wore an earring from one pair in one ear, and an earring from another pair in the other ear.
There’s nothing like good friends who appreciate your jewelry!

I think Ashley is correct. When you are going to buy an earing always consider the personality of the person. If deborah’s age range from 40′s to 50′s, I’d like her to have the first picture.
I love all of them but the most I like is the second one that the navy with swirl is very special & lovely!!
Personally I love the turquoise, they’re more my style. But all 3 are beautiful!
