Have a Blessed Day

by Rena Klingenberg

Where I live, at the end of a phone call or conversation people often say “Have a blessed day!”
It’s always spoken wholeheartedly – the person who says it truly desires that your day will be blessed, regardless of their spirituality or yours.
And you know what?  I always feel very blessed after hearing it.  Life feels lighter, more connected, and more in tune with the Universe and the Divine.

This morning my phone rang.  When I answered, it was a lady who had dialed a wrong number.  She apologized and kindly wished me a blessed day.  I wished her one as well, and we hung up.

It was no longer a “wrong” number – we both wound up being blessed because of it.

It’s a lovely parting wish at the end of a conversation.  And so I wish it wholeheartedly to you:

Have a blessed day.

Rena,

Aren’t those little coincidences miracles! just when you needed to hear a complete stranger say “Have a blessed day” it can change the whole outlook on your day (to say the least).

It’s funny my husband was contacting a job and dialed the wrong number last week, it happened to be a friend that works from home and does not receive personal calls much, he called my husband back and thank him so much for calling- he was not feeling too spiritually fit and the conversation (by accident) made him feel much better.

My husband was embarrassed that the call was not intentional, but he made it seem that it was intentional to him- in turn it made my husband feel better as well. So there are no coincidences as I say on a daily basis; especially when these little connections make us all feel better about ourselves.

Thank you for sharing!

Lovely story, Nancy! You’re right – perhaps there are never any “wrong number” calls. Your husband and his friend were both blessed by their accidental call too. I love the “coincidences” that turn out to be exactly what we need. :)

When people ask me how I am, I often answer
“Blessed beyond Belief” – I start out my day every morning giving thanks for what I have been loaned on this earth.
